SOS- Save our Space! Examples of how to create storage solutions using Kee Klamp
That room. Every house has it. Every house needs it. Nobody wants it.
The room I am referring to is the ‘junk room’. The room where all sorts of bits and pieces are loaded in no particular order, just to be got out of the way. The method for delivering such items into the ‘junk room’ is usually by opening the door no more than a foot to a foot and a half, closing your eyes, and hurling the object as far to the back as possible.
In many cases the small room under the stairs is the nominated room, and when opened you need to step back quickly in order to prevent your toes getting crushed by the inevitable avalanche.
Kee Klamp fittings
Kee Klamp fittings can ensure that the junk room can become a thing of the past once and for all. It is only a matter of creating a simple shelving unit to house all your household items that can no longer find a true home. The clamps are easily attached to the desired lengths of tubing and modified to suit whatever space you have available. It is for that reason that Kee Klamp can be used to suit any situation, and a shelving unit can be designed to fit into any nook and cranny, including your ‘room under the stairs’.
Long lasting shelving
The beauty of the kee klamp is that it so easily integrated into any surroundings within the house, with its industrial look not looking out of place in a kitchen, dining room or other. Of course, the reason a shelving unit is there in the first place is to solve a problem and free up space, or to tidy up clutter such as books, toys, clothes etc, but why not give house guests something to admire and talk about. Coordinate the shelving with some kee klamp furniture and you will have a cost effective interior which has an artsy, industrial look.
Clean industrial look
This picture above in particular captures the kind of look which can be created when using fittings in different ways within the one area. The result is a clean, natural industrial look, which is extremely aesthetically pleasing. Kee Klamp is used to build the wall-mounted book shelves, and also is used as a railing alongside the window(the base flange is effortlessly fixed to the window board by normal wood screws). Finally, Kee Access handrail fittings are used to complete the look and create a stair handrail.
In this picture, these fittings are used to make a stair and landing area look better, but also solve everyday problems which we might encounter, while at the same time all tying in with each other. Creating furniture out of the same fittings would undoubtably complete the look. And using Kee Klamp as shelving and storage solutions will ensure that you have much more room for whatever furniture you feel suits your home, while also preserving your personal space.
And in turn, eliminating the need for a 'junk room'.
